IELTS Exam Cancellation Fees

1. Cancellation fee for IELTS on Paper:

Step 1: Submit the Transfer and Cancellation/Refund Application Form along with the original payment receipt to the test Centre.

Step 2: An administrative charge of INR 4,500 (including taxes) will be deducted.

Step 3: If cancellation is made 9 days or more before the test date, you will receive a refund of INR 13,500 within 10–12 working days.

Step 4: If the cancellation request is made less than 9 days before the test date, no refund will be provided.

2. Cancellation fee for IELTS on Computer

Step 1: Fill the Transfer & Cancellation/Refund Application Form and attach the original payment receipt.

Step 2: Submit the application to the IELTS Test Centre.

Step 3: Pay an administrative charge of INR 4,500 (inclusive of taxes).

Step 4: If cancelled 9 days or more before the test date → Refund of INR 13,500 will be processed within 10–12 working days.

Step 5: If cancelled less than 9 days before the test date → No refund will be given.

3. Cancellation fee for IELTS Life Skills:

Step 1: Submit the cancellation form + original payment receipt to the Centre.

Step 2: Pay an administrative charge of INR 4,250 (inclusive of taxes).

Step 3: If cancelled 14+ days before test date → Refund of INR 12,750 within 10–12 working days.

Step 4: If cancelled less than 9 days before test date → No refund will be provided.

4. Cancellation fee for IELTS for UKVI:

Step 1: Submit Test Date Transfer & Cancellation/Refund Application Form + original fee receipt.

Step 2: Pay administrative charge of INR 4,550 (inclusive of taxes).

Step 3: Cancel 14+ days before test → Refund INR 13,700 within 10–12 working days.

Step 4: Cancel less than 9 days before test → No refund provided.

5. Cancellation fee for IELTS One Skill Retake:

Application for cancellation of IELTS One Skill Retake test can be cancelled 72 hours or more before the test starts time under the following conditions:

• Serious medical conditions may prevent you from attending or performing normally on test day; such conditions require supporting evidence of a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner.

• Evidence of bereavement, trauma, or other forms of significant hardship.

• Military service.

The IELTS Test Centre will cancel your test but not issue a refund under the following conditions:

• If you can cancel your test or request a transfer in less than 72 hours before the test.

• Do not attend the test as scheduled.
